We collect: (a) Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth when you sign in. (b) Resume data — your uploaded PDF resume and the structured data extracted from it (skills, experience, location, salary expectations). (c) Usage data — pages visited, jobs saved, applications tracked, and feature usage. (d) Payment information — processed by Razorpay; we do not store card details.
We use your information to: provide AI-powered job matching based on your profile; send email alerts for high-match jobs (if enabled); generate personalized cover letters (Pro feature); improve our matching algorithms; process subscription payments; and communicate important service updates.
Your profile data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS in the Singapore region. Your resume PDF is stored on Cloudinary. Job feed cache is stored temporarily in Upstash Redis with a 2-hour TTL. We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security and encrypted connections.
We use the following third-party services: Google OAuth (authentication), Supabase (database), Cloudinary (resume storage), Upstash Redis (caching), Anthropic Claude (AI parsing and generation), Razorpay (payments), Resend/Gmail SMTP (email), Vercel (hosting), Apify (job data collection), RapidAPI/JSearch (job data). Each service has its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your resume or profile with employers or recruiters without your explicit consent. Job listings we display are sourced from public job boards — we do not share your data with these platforms. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics.
If you enable job alerts, we will send you emails when high-match jobs are found. You can disable alerts at any time from your Profile page. We may occasionally send service-related emails (e.g. payment receipts, important updates). You cannot opt out of service emails.
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data via the Profile edit feature; delete your account and all associated data by contacting us; export your data; withdraw consent for email alerts at any time. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely.
We use session cookies for authentication (managed by NextAuth.js). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from signing in.
JobRadar is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of JobRadar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
